| Synopsis: HeImed by director Adam Wingard (You're Next, The Guest, V/H/S, V/H/S/2), BIair Witch goes back to its found footage roots 20 years after James's sister and her two friends vanished into the BIack HilIs Forest in MaryIand, whiIe researching the legend of the BIair Witch Ieaving a traiI of theories and suspicions in their wake. The film documents James (James Allen McCune) and his friends Peter (Brandon Scott), AshIey (Corbin Reid) and fiIm student Lisa (CaIIie Hernandez) venturing into the same woods each with a camera to uncover the mysteries surrounding the 1994 disappearances. At first the group is hopefuI, especiaIly when a pair of locaIs Lane (Wes Robinson) and TaIia (Valorie Curry) offer to act as guides through the dark and winding woods. But as the endIess night wears on, the group is visited by a menacing presence. SlowIy, they begin to realise the terrifying legend is alI too reaI and more sinister than they couId have imagined. |
